Store Policies: Accepted Methods of Payment; Shipping Time; Return Policy

Accepted Methods of Payment. We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Card.

Shipping Time. Merchandise will be shipped from the manufacturer within 10 days of receipt of order. Custom orders add an additional shipment time.  The custom made items are identified in the product descriptions as well as additional time to ship.

Shipping Methods. Merchandise will be shipped using Ground Service. In addition, some items must be shipped by truck. These items are noted in the product descriptions. Products are always shipped insured.

Pricing Error. Due to human error, we may reject an incorrect price of a product.

Customer satisfaction is our highest goal. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Here are the guidelines to ensure a quick return.

Damaged Shipments. Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier, ground or truck. If shipped by truck, please inspect your order upon arrival. If any products are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill before the carrier leaves. For damaged shipments, ground or truck, take pictures of the damaged product and send to us ASAP within 72 hrs. We will file the claim with the carrier. We are not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.

Manufacturers Defects. In the unlikely event that your order is missing parts, damaged or defective, please contact us within 30 days and we will send you the replacement product, or replacement parts at no cost to you. Email our Customer Service department for instructions support@smashingstainedglass.com (with "RETURN" in the subject field) Do not return products to us without first contacting us to receive instructions. If an item is to be returned to us due to manufacturers defect, you must first receive a Return Authorization Number. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package.

Wrong Product. If you received a different product than initially ordered, the item must be returned with the following and a Return Authorization Number:

  • All original contents (product, manuals, instructions, etc.).
  • Original packaging.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return or exchange the product within 30 days of receipt as long as the product is returned in new, unused, and in resalable condition inside its original packaging. Custom Orders are Not Returnable.

Return Merchandise Policy. All products properly returned under this policy are eligible for a refund to the original method of payment. We will credit you for the total purchase price, upon receipt of the product, less a 30% restocking fee. We will cover original shipping costs. Buyer must pay return shipping costs. Permission for any return merchandise must be secured from our return department. You have 30 days from the ship date to receive refunds. You must email the refund request to support@smashingstainedglass.com (with "RETURN" in the subject field), at which time the return authorization number (RA#) with return instructions will be sent to you. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package. Products being returned must have a RA# issued before returned.

Once a return is authorized by our return department you should:

  1. Return the item to the address given to you by our return department.
  2. Write the Return Authorization Number clearly on the box or package.
  3. Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned merchandise. All returns with a value over $100.00 must be insured.. We can not be held liable for return merchandise that does not reach our return department.

We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error. You are responsible for all freight charges on shipments that are refused or returned with no fault on our part. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages or losses to defective products, errors in shipping your order, or other errors. The limit of our liability is the replacement cost of any item that you have purchased.
